A murder mystery drama is stealing the show right now. Netflix fans are going wild over the limited series that has just dropped onto the streaming platform. Despite only being released recently, the show has taken the top spot for most popular show to watch right now. The Untamed is a limited series that is set in Yosemite National Park. It currently has just under 25 million views throughout the world, and it has only been out for a total of eight days.

The series synopsis reads: “The Untamed is a Netflix six-part miniseries following National Parks Service special agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana) as he investigates a brutal murder in Yosemite National Park. The investigation leads him to confront dark secrets within the park and his own past, while he’s paired with rookie ranger Naya Vasquez (Lily Santiago). The series explores themes of grief, trauma, and the clash between human law and the untamed wilderness.”

Sam Neill, Rosemarie DeWitt and Wilson Bethel also star in the drama series.

The show’s viewing figures may be flying at the moment, but the ratings are not quite as impressive. The Rotten Tomatoes critics have opted for a solid 79% score, with the audience rating it higher at 79%. The critics consensus reads: “Wrangled by Eric Bana’s steady star power, Untamed’s solid murder mystery is elevated by the visually sumptuous backdrop of its Yosemite National Park milieu.”
