Queen Camilla is known for her large and eye-catching collection of brooches, but one brooch holds a special place in her heart and, according to experts, sends a strong message regarding her bond to King Charles. The Queen loves to enhance her outfits with different types of brooches for each of her appearances, with most of them somehow linked to the occasion.

Camilla has now acquired quite a brooch collection, which consists of heirlooms passed down from the late Queen Elizabeth and personal pieces connected to her own family. However, one piece has been dubbed “especially significant” by experts. They estimate it costs around £11,000 and sends a powerful message of her devotion to King Charles.

The brooch in question is the Queen’s diamond knot brooch.

She was seen with the piece in 2019, when she attended the Christmas Day church service in Sandringham with the rest of the Royal Family.

Most notably, it was the first brooch Camilla wore publicly as Queen Consort on September 9, 2022, just one day after Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Queen Camilla’s diamond-studded brooch, which features 2 carats of diamonds, is in the shape of a knot. The symbol represents love, commitment, unity, and unbreakable bonds.

According to a jewellery expert, by wearing it, the Queen wants to showcase her “unbreakable bond” with the King after decades together.

Maxwell Stone, of jewellers Steven Stone, said: “Delicately studded with diamonds, Queen Camilla’s elegant knot brooch holds deep emotional significance – it was the very first brooch she wore as Queen Consort, just a day after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

“Prior to that moment, she had worn the piece on several poignant occasions, including official visits abroad and church services – most notably the annual Christmas Day service at Sandringham in 2019.

“Symbolically rich, the brooch is crafted in the shape of a knot – a timeless emblem of love, loyalty, unity, and enduring connection. In many ways, it reflects the unbreakable bond shared by Queen Camilla and King Charles over their decades together.

“Set with approximately 2 carats of diamonds, I’d estimate the brooch’s value at around £11,000.”
