The Chase’s Bradley Walsh names his top 3 favourite songs – including karaoke classic | Music | Entertainment

Bradley Walsh has shared his top songs and it’s no surprise that there’s one karaoke classic included on his list. The beloved British actor, comedian, and television presenter, is known for his infectious charm and quick wit. Walsh has spoken about his appreciation for music and which songs stand out to him.

Sharing his favourites with NME, the songs span across various genres, from timeless classics to modern hits. Walsh also shared what it is that makes certain stand out songs so special to him and the stories behind why they hold a special place in his heart. The presenter said the song he would do at karaoke would be Frank Sinatra’s That’s Life.

He told NME: “That would also be the song I would have played at my funeral. It says it all about showbiz and life in general.

“For me, it means: ‘You’ve had your ups, you’ve had your downs, you’ve gotta pick yourself up, get on with it and just crack on’.

“Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re too short, you’re too fat, you’re too thin, you’re too ugly – that’s nonsense. For all the ‘No’s, someone’s gonna say, ‘Yes.’ Stick with it.”

But this isn’t the only song Walsh said he enjoys, he said the song that makes him want to dance the most is ABBA’s Dancing Queen.

The presenter joked that every time the song comes on it makes him want to dance and said he enjoys “proper dad dancing”.

Another song Walsh said he enjoys is Tony Bennett’s music, particularly Firefly and The Good Life.

He recalled a time when he played a Tony Bennett cassette tape on a loop and said he was “mesmerised” by Bennett’s voice and arrangements.

Walsh is best known for being the host of the popular afternoon television show, The Chase.

He has also hosted other popular shows such as Blankety Blank and The Wheel of Fortune.
