14-year-old girl ‘booted’ and dragged by the hair across pavement in horrific attack | UK | News

The young girl, from Bulwell, was lured to St Ann’s by an individual she believed was a new friend.

Disturbing videos of the incident – too distressing to share – depict her sitting on a park bench in St Ann’s before another girl violently drags her by her hair onto the pavement and begins to assault her.

Several other teenagers are then seen joining in the attack, with one particularly shocking moment showing a teen brutally kicking the girl in the face, reports Nottinghamshire Live.

The victim’s 25 yea r old brother discovered the videos after they were sent to his sister by a friend who had seen them on Snapchat. He expressed: “When me and my mum saw them, we felt sick. It’s shocking and disgusting.”

The victim, whose identity is being protected, has a medical condition that has affected her since birth. Her brother further explained: “Physically, she is 14, but mentally she is seven. She can’t concentrate at school and all she wants is to make friends

“She had a CT scan but she only had a few cuts and bruises. It’s quite unbelievable given what happened.”

His sister cannot remember how long the attack lasted, but neighbours told him it went on for 10-15 minutes, before a resident came out of his house after hearing commotion.

Her brother also posted an appeal on Facebook following the incident and explained he has received a number of messages from parents saying their children were attacked by the same teenagers pictured in the videos.

He said: “I want something to be done about this because it’s obviously not a one-off attack.”

An investigation has now been launched by Nottinghamshire Police following the incident, which took place around 9pm on Thursday, June 19, on Abbotsford Drive. A spokesperson for the force explained the 14-year-old suffered bruises to her arms and shoulders and bruising and scratches to her face.

Police constable Ruby Trigger, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a completely unacceptable attack on a vulnerable teenage girl. Thankfully, she did not suffer serious injury but this must have been a frightening ordeal for her.

“We take incidents of this nature very seriously as we understand the impact they can have on the victim and their family. Officers have been working hard to understand exactly what happened by conducting a CCTV trawl in the area and carrying out other local inquiries.

“I would urge anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or has any information that could assist our investigation, including anyone who may have recorded CCTV, dashcam, doorbell, or mobile phone footage, to please call us on 101, quoting incident number 844 of 19 June 2025.
